Catch up with Coach Will and find out about his fascination for travelling downhill at 100mph, and why you should hide and secure any nut butters if he’s in the area!

Q: Do you include outdoor sport into your routine in spring/summer?
A: I love the outdoors, the summer is a perfect way for me to get out and enjoy some early morning training, whether it be sprint training in the park, mountain biking through the North Downs or power kiting on the beach!

Q: Favourite clean treat food?
A: There are too many to list! but if I needed to pick one, it would have to be almond butter… I could eat a whole tub at a time!

Q: If you could train with an athlete, who would you choose & why?
A: I would love to train with Olympic downhill skier Bode Miller, just to see what sort of training would involve keeping you focused and balanced when hitting speeds of 100mph skiing down a mountain!

Q: Tip for staying on track during the Spring Bank Holidays?
A: I take the same approach as I do for Christmas, relax and treat yourself to some good home-cooked food with maybe a splash of red wine. If you’re going to eat chocolate, go for 85% or higher, Green & Black’s is my top tip!

Q: Favourite non-meat protein food?
A: Definitely eggs! They are so versatile, they taste amazing, and they are loaded with 9 essential amino acids, vitamins, minerals and good fats!
