Q: Do you include more outdoor sport into your routine in spring/summer?
A: Sprint training in the park. I love to race my dog … I’ve not won yet, but I live in hope!
Q: Favourite clean treat food?
A: I’ve recently bought myself a NutriBullet, which I love.
I put natural yogurt, some blueberries, strawberries and a little bit of dark chocolate in it. Whiz it up then freeze it. Perfectly healthy frozen yogurt and it tastes great!
Q: If you could train with an athlete, who would you choose?
A: I’ve always admired all round athletes. Daley Thompson was my favourite as a child as he had one of the greatest mental attitudes. He even used to train on Christmas Day as he knew no-one else would, so believed it gave him the edge. With an attitude like that it’s no wonder he was a champion.
Q: Tip for staying on track during Easter and the Spring Bank Holidays?
A: If you find yourself with too much chocolate in the house give it to someone else as a present. Neither that or put it in the bin. But make sure you take it out of the wrapper first otherwise the temptation to go back to it can be too strong.
