This week we’re mostly eating … Broccoli!
Forget the overcooked mush you had at school, broccoli is awesome! Broccoli is rich in dietary fibre, minerals, vitamins, and anti-oxidants that have proven health benefits. It is incredibly high in vitamin C, providing about 150% of your recommended daily intake per 100g. It also provides vitamin A, folates, vitamin K and B3. For maximum health benefits eat it fresh, but you can drop frozen pieces into smoothies too!
