Favourite exercise?

Romanian deadlift. It works all the major muscle groups: hits glutes, hamstrings, quads, inner thighs and lower back as well as upper neck muscles. An effective all-rounder and it feels good.

Favourite piece of kit?

TRX Total Body Resistance exercises. You can work every muscle group using the TRX and your own body weight. Adaptable, mobile and inventive.

Dream training partner?

I love playing tennis outside of the gym, so would love to train with a top player. It’s not just about skill and fitness levels but mental strength too.

The exercise you have a love-hate relationship with?

Bulgarian Split Squat with dumbbell. I never enjoy doing these. They hurt! However they are such an effective quad-builder, I will have to keep on doing them!

Most played song on your gym playlist?

I love house music but I don’t tend to listen to any particular track when training, as I like variety and listening to new tracks.
